Kristin Ford, one of Seattle’s favorite jewelry designers will be here with us on Saturday from 11:30 to 3 to show off her latest collection, including many one-of-a-kind pieces created just for this event! Take the opportunity to meet and honor Kristin at this artist reception.

Annie deVuono will present Fall 2107 – blocked fur felt and luscious fabric soft hats perfect for all occasions!

Enjoy refreshments, win prizes and have fun with photo ops! This is a great opportunity to share a special afternoon with friends, begin your holiday shopping, and find something exquisite for yourself!

Saturday’s the big day, with Kristin making an appearance in the afternoon, so plan on attending this lovely afternoon of refreshments and beautiful jewelry by this favorite Seattle artist!

Scent, Lotion, Hands!

Explore scent combinations to create your own signature scent, then infuse that scent into some artist made unscented lotion. Learn how to use the lotion and other products to give yourself a wonderful, soothing, exfoliating hand treatment. Leave with your own special lotion and fantastic looking hands!

Peace Pin Paper Bead-Making Class

Wear your heart on your sleeve and declare yourself as a Safe Person with our Peace Pins. Make yours a personal statement by embellishing with paper beads you make in this fun class! Then add other charms that resonate with you! Create more beads to make into earrings, necklaces, bracelets, beaded curtains – whatever you desire!

Myth: Heart disease doesn’t affect women who are fit

Fact: Even if you’re a yoga-loving, marathon-running workout fiend, your risk for heart disease isn’t completely eliminated. Factors like cholesterol, eating habits and smoking can counterbalance your other healthy habits. You can be thin and have high cholesterol. The American Heart Association recommends you start getting your cholesterol checked at age 20, or earlier, if your family has a history of heart disease. And while you’re at it, be sure to keep an eye on your blood pressure at your next check-up.
