Seattle artist Susanna Prince brings her own unique artistic eye and flair to fused glass. One of her best selling pieces in our store is her triple votive candle holder, or tryptich. Susanna starts with clear glass, then adds fusing powdered glass called 'frit'. She sprinkles the frit onto the piece, or uses a sieve and manipulates it with tools to create her imagery. Then the piece goes into a kiln to do a 'tack fuse' which melts and solidifies the design and colors. The tryptich then goes into a hotter kiln over a ceramic mold to creat the shape of her piece. This unique glass piece makes a lovely centerpiece , an artistic decorating accent, and a great gift!
